The lobed hexagonal covered box has straight sides and sloping shoulders, all resting on a flat base and a shallow footring. The cover is decorated in shallow relief with two rows of scrolling patterns flanking a central flaming chakra wheel. The surface of the box is patinated to a natural golden brown colour.
